Problem sending email through Exchange 2010 server from application on server that is in "Receive mail from remote server..." list...
We have a server (SQLserver on 2008 R2 @192.168.201.202) running an application that we need to send outside email through. It connects to the Exchange server (SBS 2011 @ 192.168.201.200) through a Receive Connector that I set up. This is the the first time we have tried to make this connection and it has not worked properly since. Inside mail works fine. We are getting the following error when trying to send from the SQLserver:
"There was a problem sending the email. SMTP Error: The SMTP server requires a secure connection or the client was not authenticated. The server response was: 5.7.1 Client was not authenticated : 10/3/2014 4:20:45 PM"
Not sure how to fix this.
I need help ASAP!
Thank you so much!
