I am running XP 32 bit.

I ran a Dbase 3 program that initiated a print. The printer starts up even though nothing is running after a reboot. How do I clear the unending cancelling job?

Make sure there is no job left in the spooler. In Printers & Faxes, double-click the printer, and check that the queue is empty. If there is a job showing, cancel it. If you print via a server, you will need to do this on the server unless you know which PC it is coming from.

Thanks for this. I forgot about it but you're right on target.

Funny how often little things like this get overlooked. Glad it's fixed, and thanks for the points!
