I have a nexsan satabeast 2 and I have it configured with RAID 5 and one 20TB volume. I need to setup windows shares and I am unclear about how this is done. The manual for this unit doesn't talk about windows shares. I wonder if this is even possible with this unit. Any help would be appreciated it.

It doesn't do NFS or CIFS does it, it's block only. You need a server to act as a NAS head for it. If you have a Windows server then install the iSCSI initiator on it, present the SATAbeast LUNs to it and initialise them with disk manager, then make shares on them and share them out.

Thank you for responding to my post. I was able to set it up using the iSCSI initiator.
