Install CA certificate to trusted root from browser

We have a CA certificate we need our clients to install before they can use one of our services. We would for the process to be quick and simple for the users. We were hoping we could have a hyperlink that upon click asks the user if they'd like to import the certificate without them needing to download the cert and install it manually. This would need to work in Chrome and IE.

So as far as you know there is no way to skip most of those steps and simply prompt for install? I was trying to get away from manual installs of the cert.

Never heard of a 'simpler easier' way for the users to do it.
