.NET Framework 3.5.1 Roll Installed Then Removed Manually. How to Reinstall?

I am informed by the feature manager that I cannot remove 3.5.1 via the feature manager, but when I've removed it from programs and features the tick box remains.

Cannot untick / remove using features.
How do I reinstall .NET 3.5.1? This is a fresh build of windows so it's a shame to break it in this way :)

Is it safe to just run the web installer?

Uncheck .NET 3.51, close, and restart the server.

When it comes back up, run .NETfx Verifier to see what is there and if it can fix it.

The .NET Framework Repair Tool can be found at the following locations:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2698555
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=246062

I use this and it has worked for others as well.

Try the NETfx application I pointed to.

Also, I think you should have .NET 4.5 there as well.

You might try running System File Checker (SFC /SCANNOW) on your server

Cheers :) Tool worked fine. As for .NET 4, just ran the installer. Ta!
