I can't believe I'm resorting to asking this question here.

I have a Google account. I log in with my username and password. They are both recognized. When I click on the Gmail account link at the top of the page, I'm taken to a page that is headlined "Add Gmail to Your Google Account."

I HAVE a Gmail account. I'm already signed in to have gotten to that page. I've searched for how to get TO the Gmail, and just can't find the answer.

Someone, please help me on this seemingly simple issue. I can't dope it out!

Try going to https://mail.google.com/ after you've signed in to Google

Should this not help, try clear your browser cookies, or try a different browser.
