how to configure dns for a new internal website
Hi everybody,
I configured a new website on a windows 2008 R2 server and I configured a specific domain for that. The new website can be reached from outside the LAN but not from inside. I already configure a dns record for another website that had the same domain name (site.mycompany.com) with the internal IP address (otherwise it is blocked by the firewall). But now this website has a different domain name (site.notmycompany.com). Could anyone explain how I should configure the dns to allow internal users to connect to this website ? Should I create a new zone ? I am using windows 2008 R2.
Thanks for your help
