Scenario: <br />

three tier &nbsp; 2 wfes, 1 app, 1 db<br />
base install had the WFEs and the app server all running Foundation Web App service. All is working fine.<br />
Had to turn off Foundation Web App Service on the App server because all 3rd party products want to license it as a WFE.<br />

Problem:<br />

Now when I go to <a href="http://myserver/sites/it" rel="ugc">http://myserver/sites/it</a>, it redirects me to &quot;<a href="http://myserver/sites/it/_layouts/15/start.aspx#//sites/IT/" rel="ugc">http://myserver/sites/it/_layouts/15/start.aspx#//sites/IT/</a>&quot;&nbsp;and I get no page.<br />
