Ray wer kindly give me a stop watch piece of code. However I was wondering if there was anything open source already out there that gave you a report on your code e.g. gave you the time the statement took to exexute and the total time.

Would be useful (or perhaps unweildy with loops etc)

I saw this http://newrelic.com/sp/brand?utm_source=GOOG&utm_medium=adwords&utm_content=rpm&utm_campaign=RPM&utm_term=NewRelic&mpc=PS-GOOG-RPM-EN-SIGNUP-Europe-Brand-NewRelic-LP3&gclid=CjwKEAjw5NihBRCZmdLkuuTHyWYSJACtCY0JSRe30inseVihWFmKA4OqEBjkiROHvX_jN6hs6jyNqxoCCVPw_wcB

Any cmments welcomed

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The code example I posted in the other question is about as "open-source" as you can get.  I posted 100% of the code, including an example of how it is used.

This is a good tool, recommended by many of my colleagues.

Our E-E colleague, @gr8gonzo, has an article about using it:
