Adding a security group to a distribution list

Doing a massive AD housekeeping task. Just wondered if there was any implication to adding a security group which contains users to a distribution group where they are already added explicitly.

Will this result in the e-mail being delivered twice or is Exchange 2010 clever enough to figure that one out?

Cheers.

Nope. Exchange will enumerate members of all groups before sending. They will only receive the message once.
