"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Here's their support page:  http://www.att.com/esupport/   I don't see anything about Live Chat on that page.  For tech support, I've always had good luck calling them up.

Hello and Good Evening

Thank you for the link given in response to my question.  While the link certainly helps to address this question, I would like to add a couple of things as an attempt to provide full closure of this question.  The two direct methods of communicating one on one with a customer or technical support specialist of AT&T which I found are as follows:  The first one is by dialing 1-800-288-2020.  While this toll free number does originally take the customer through an automated menu system, it does get around to giving an option to speak directly with an AT&T agent.  The second option is of course the live chat.  I was able to access this option by logging into my AT&T account and typing a keyword in like technical support and clicking search.  Once the page loaded, then, I saw an option of Live Chat.  In order to see this option though one must be a customer of AT&T with a current account.

In closing, many thanks once again for the link.  I hope the additional information provided will help others in the future who might need to directly contact an agent or representative of AT&T.

You're welcome.  I'm not an AT&T customer so I couldn't see that 'chat' link.
