I'm trying to install MyODBC Connector on a remote server I access through gotomypc.

It seemed to get stuck during the install; somehow, I got kicked out of that.

So now I'm trying again. See attached.

When I double click on myodbc-installer, it sort of instantly opens then closes another window, nothing happens.

How can I fix this?

First and foremost
You should be using a 64-bit installer instead of a 32-bit
Ideally before posting any comment I would check the eventlogs to see what's going on with the install, that should tell most of the story.

The other thing you may also want to do is , run a task manager and see if there are any rundll32, msi-exec of any other odbc-installers that are running. If they are kill them first before you try installing again.

To ambatihp,

I'm installing 32 bit because that is what the 3rd party software company says is needed.

I will check the logs.

Thanks
