Ubiquiti wireless software question: What is unifi controller v4.2 vs. unifi v3.2.5 controller?

Sorry, I am a newbie.

In unifi downloads, there's a unifi controller 3.2.5... and under unifi switching and routing, there's a unifi v4.2.0 controller.

When using UAC-LR units and unmanaged Netgear switches, which one do you use? When woudl you use the other?

Thanks!

3.2.5 is what you want...if you are talking about controller for the wireless access points...

The 4.2 is for their routers
