gridview right align header

I have

             <asp:BoundField DataField="Core" HeaderText="Core" DataFormatString="{0:n}" >
                <HeaderStyle HorizontalAlign="Right"  ></HeaderStyle>
                <ItemStyle HorizontalAlign="Right"></ItemStyle>
            </asp:BoundField>

Ignores horizontal align

Any ideas?

It may be other CSS rules that are overwriting your  alignment. (e.g. Gridview Cssclass)
if you are using IE, use developer tools (F12) and inspect which Css rules are applied to the header and row cells.

If more help needed please post your whole grid view mark up as well as the results from developer tools.
