I came across this example which works but the timespinner still is not in 12-hour format (if you press up and the hour is 12, the next is 13)...

How do I make the timespinner work in 12-hour format as well..

Please advise

Is there a solution that combines the date & time in one click?

Try this one (see second example)
http://tarruda.github.io/bootstrap-datetimepicker/

One click
2 options that open in a drawer one for the calendar (icon) and one for the time (icon)
and AM/PM selector for the time

There is another one that you may like
