Hey guys,

I am trying to install .NET framework 3.5 on Server 2012 through the Role Based features and it fails. I have the DVD drive connected and it still fails after I point it to the sources/sxs folder.

I tried the command
Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFx3 /All /Source:D:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess

Also and it failed. What am i missing?

go to control panel -> programs and features -> view installed updates
see if you have KB2966826, KB2966827, KB2966828 installed
if so, remove them
seems to be a big problem with people trying to install .net 3.5 on 2012
