I would like to know which Cisco Switches series are used in CCIE V5 Lab exam.
OR
Whether it does not matter  as long as they have IOS version 15.x

They are very pricy on eBay....
As are sports cars, jets, fast boats, etc.  If you want to play the role, you gotta pay the toll.  ;-)

Back in the day (before things like GNS/dynamips), when we had to do routing, switching and protocols like SNA, it was almost impossible to build your own lab.
