How would you integrate a MS Word doc into an ASP.NET in C# web application using VS2010?

I am developing an ASP NET 4.0 in C#, web app using SQL Server and VS2010 Professional edition.

How would you write code to click on a command button to open an existing MS Word 2010 document, edit the doc and save it?

Microsoft does not currently recommend, and does not support, Automation of Microsoft Office applications from any unattended, non-interactive client application or component (including ASP, ASP.NET, DCOM, and NT Services), because Office may exhibit unstable behavior and/or deadlock when Office is run in this environment.  Microsoft does give links to open document sources and reading material
