SCCM 2012 - MDT Build/Image update

Hi Experts,
We running SCCM2012 SP2, our MDT image deployment/OSD is managed via SCCM2012, we not using WSUS components now included in SCCM2k12 with our SCCM setup, we still manage WSUS separately.
I wanting to inject around 80+ windows update into the WIM file for our Windows 7 image, what's the best way I can achieve this,
I'd appreciate exact steps, or a link to an article that explains the process in detail

You can follow the guides here:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/hh974336.aspx

Specifically, the guide to create an image with MDT will work for Win7 through 8.1, and covers creating and capturing a reference image quite well. One of the steps in the task sequence will automatically run windows update before capture and that can use your existing WSUS infrastructure so you can approve which updates are included in the reference image. The guide is quite detailed.
