This is try to setup symantec backup exec 2014 on a hp ML380 g7 server failed. It failed on SQL Express setup. The server is installed with ms sql 2005 rtm workgroup edition. I did try to setup sbe db on this sql server, but setup recommend to install sp4. If given a priority, i still prefer to use sql express. How to troubleshoot and resolve the problem?

thanks,

At the end, found the C:\Program files\Microsoft SQL Server and C:\Program files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server were compressed (OS level). After de-compressed both path, sql express can be setup without problem.
