microsoft publisher 2003 not printing entire document to Ricoh MP C4000 printer

A customer has an 11 page document (22 mb in size) that will not print completely when she tries to print the entire document. It will skip graphics and text after the first 4 pages prints. For example, each page has the same graphic at the top of the page. This graphic only prints on the first 4 pages. It will usually print something on every page.  When she breaks the 11 pages down in to smaller jobs it prints everything correctly. The size of the print job seems to be the issue.

The computer is Windows 7 64 bit. The driver is Gestetner MP C400 PCL5 C

I have tried setting it to "Print directly" and "start printing after last page is spooled" and turning off "Advanced printing features" but the printer leaves out more graphics with these settings.

Anybody know of a way to fix this?

Hi, does it print normally if you use a different printer, just as a test ? I would start with drivers, make sure you have the latest driver from the vendors website, try converting the file to PDF and printing. I think these have 1Gb RAM so I would not expect memory to be an issue.

Yes, she is able to print it to an HP 570 DN successfully. The printer does have 1 Gb of Ram also. Additionally, there is another computer that I tried the same document with and it also has the same issue with that printer (same print driver). I have tried both the Ricoh driver and the Gestetner driver so far. I will see if it prints ok to PDF.

I downloaded the PCL 6 driver and this fixed it. Thanks
