Adobe Reader File Open Error On Network
I'm getting this error from some , not all adobe files on the network Acrobat could not open <filename>.pdf because it is either not a supported file type or because it has been corrupted. Everything was fine til about 12 today. Some files work fine, others come up with this message, I've rebooted the sbs 2011 server, the workstations, i copied files to the local win 7 station, transferred a pdf to another system outside the network, same results. Adobe Acrobat reader 11 and Pro. Any thoughts? This is a weird one.
Do what Mohammed said or try a different reader and see if you the get the same results, if you do, then the file is corrupted, does not happen often but can happen, but make sure you're sharing these PDF in read only mode, if users have read and write access, then some corruption will happen.
