Setup Microsoft NLB for SharePoint 2013

I setup a MS NLB for a SharePoint deployment.  I have two virtual servers hosted on ESXi 5.0 with an OS of Server 2012 R2.  The NLB is setup between the two servers with the cluster operation mode set to multicast and filtering mode affinity is network.  I have one virtual NIC on each of the servers.  Originally, the NLB is working but then fails to reply to a ping the following day.  Thoughts?

That's the road I was just starting to go down.  Saw that exact same article  Also was reading this:  http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&docTypeID=DT_KB_1_1&externalId=1006525
Yes, STATIC ARP and MAC  entries ARE REQUIRED not optionally!

We put them on all uplink ports as well!

So every port you would expect to see the traffic......

So that means on the physical port the server is patched into.

If that switch uplinks to another switch.....for your clients, that also needs to have them.
