Looking for help on viewing the message header of a quarantined emails when using Symantec Mail Security for Exchange v. 7.5.0.56.  I know how to release a quarantined message to a saved file but that doesn't include the message and or the message header so i can determine the specifics.

Any help would be great.

Thank you

Administrators with Full Administration rights or Manage Quarantine view rights can view spam messages in quarantine. However, these administrators cannot release messages or delete messages in Spam Quarantine. Administrators with Full Administration rights or Manage Quarantine modify rights can view, delete, and release spam messages from Spam Quarantine.

The ability to search messages lets you more easily find a specific message that you want to view or delete. You must have Full Administration rights or Manage Quarantine view or modify rights to view messages in Spam Quarantine.

Could you release it to quarantine mailbox. What I know if the email able to release to quarantine mailbox, then we can open the quarantine mailbox and view the header as normal.

From SMS-ME vs Symantec brightmail, it stated the

SMS-ME
-Messages that gets quarantined, you cannot view the contents of the message
-Messages that gets quarantined, when you release from the quarantine, it sends it out as an HTML attachment and not in it's original form as oppose to Brightmail.

Brightmail
-View contents of quarantined message.
-Release quarantined messages without incidents.

apparently this is not a feature thats available.  Even when you release the message back to the user or an admin mailbox its not in its original format.
