uploading documents in vb6. What storage medium should I use

I have a registration form in vb6 which is connected to a sql database.  Each form needs to be associated to a scanned document somehow.  Basically a person will register themselves and then attach a supporting document somewhere in either a dropbox or any other storage that can be used for storing documents.

Do any of you experts have any good ideas on handling these "uploaded documents?"  Is there something in sql that would be helpful in this regard.  Any ideas on how to accomplish this task would be appreciated.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I have an activex dll that can upload a file to mediafire, of my own making. Contact me if interested, you can see contact information by clicking my nickname.

Or you can write your own, using their published API (and overcome quite a few problems with it in the process, like I did) . Dropbox has simlar API as far as I know.

Looking at their API at https://www.dropbox.com/developers/core , you probably can use HTTP interface from VB6 using winhttp control, http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa384109(v=vs.85).aspx
