StorageCraft Synology NAS error

We are looking to setup StorageCraft Shadow Protect backup on our Win 2012 Server and also PC's.
Downloaded the trial Stragecraft for PC to test and get familiar before we do anything on the server.
We have a new Synology RS2414+ with SHR2 and a bunch of 4TB Hitachi NAS drives.
We want to have the laptops and server backup to the NAS, and then set up the NAS to backup to an offsite NAS.

Loaded StorageCraft on the a new Dell Laptop with Win 7 pro. Start to set up the backup but can't get past the first section of where to backup to. SC does not allow backup to mapped drives due to the need to run as a service without a user logged on, That's ok with me. I would rather have the backup directories hidden from the user computers for safety and security. So we need to point the backup to the \\server. I have also tried using the NAS IP address in case there was a resolution problem.

Here is the information I am inputting to Storage Craft backup to:
Destination Name: E6440test

Destination Path: \\Rackstation-4\BU-Doug

Domain or Computer or NAS: \\RackStation-4

User Name: XYZadmin

Password: ********

Here is the error I get:

Error: Unable to verify the accessibility of the destination object Failed call AltHresultFromLastError() hr = 0x8007052e Logon failure: unknown user name or password.

I then downloaded the Acronis advanced PC Backup and was able to run it by directing the backup to the NAS directory and same credentials.
I have retyped the information in SC a bunch of times, sometimes it takes a bit of changes to get to the point where the OK button is not greyed out, which I then press and get this error. Soething wrong with how I am entering the information or maybe on how I have the NAS setup?

Will it work if the destination is simply \\Rackstation-4\ ?
If it works there, but not if the destination is \\Rackstation-4\BU-Doug, try checking the permissions on BU-Doug.  Readable and writeable and executable by XYZadmin ?

Alternatively:  I'm not familiar with ShadowProtect specifically (just with the Synology), but does the second-to-last post here give you any ideas?:
