Dear Experts,

We have purchased a new IBM X3650M4 server. It came with windows server 2012 R2 installed. Some of my applications does not support Windows Server 2012 R2. So i need to install Server 2012 only. When I am installing Server 2012 from another CD it starts the installation , copies the files & restarts. After restarting it gives the error:- 0x0000001. Tried with different server cd but same error i get always. Also tried automatic repair & through cmd prompt typed the following commands:-
bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /rebuildbcd

Gives me same error always.

Have you tried reconfiguring the RAID on the server? Start a fresh RAID configuration, then try installing it.

Are you using the IBM Server Manager CD for the installation? If not try the installation with the IBM server manager CD. Make sure to download the latest one from IBM site which supports your M4 server and try with it.

Hi,

I am trying to install the server with the normal OEM cd of windows server 2012. If I user the IBM Server Manager CD it will erase everything . I just want to format the C:\  drive only. When doing so its shows the error.
