Unable to view or save contacts/groups in Lync 2013

I have recently lost access to all contacts in Lync 2013 for Office 365. I can search for contacts, but I am unable to save new contacts/groups or see existing ones.
I've tried reinstalling Lync, resetting the profile in the Registry and User Directory, but it still fails.
I@m able to sign into Lync fine, can see the Lync Contacts in Outlook, and Lync on my iphone works fine.
Any ideas what I am missing?
