I am using MOSS 2007 and I am new to Shaepoint 2013. In 2007 it was easy to create a site and workspace and Display the site on the Quick Launch of the parent site (please find the attachment). How can I achieve that in Sharepoint 2013?

While creating the site you would have an option to display the site in quick launch.
