Toad for SQL Server synchronization problem

Hi Experts

I need assistance with synchronizing the databases that we have across three servers.  The current process that we have is rather tedious (backup-restore) and was hoping for a more automated way of doing it.  We have Toad for SQL Server (v6.5) that according to their documentation, would allow one to compare/sync databases across different servers, however, can't get it to work.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

I never used TOAD or another 3rd tool for manage my SQL Server instances and databases.
Until now SQL Server Management Studio was very good to do everything I need.
For databases synchronization you have some solutions as Replication, Log Shipping, Mirroring or Snapshot depending on what is the purpose.

Hi

My apologies for responding after so much time.

I have looked into mirroring and seems to be a working solution.  I also saw that Microsoft recommends that it not be used as a solution for new development (don't really understand why) and will look into other means of achieving this.

Thanks again!

That's because it's already deprecated in SQL Server 2014. Since SQL Server 2012 that the new feature AlwaysOn can be used for mirroring.
