I am runnign sql 2008 sp3.

The dbo user on the database Test2 has a login of mycompany\user2 and I need user2 to have its own login.

How do I change dbo's login to sa so I can have a login for user2?

If you are asking how you set the sa user to be the owner of the database, then that would be:
ALTER AUTHORIZATION ON DATABASE::Test2 TO sa
