Hello

I am looking for an Excel function that will change a "number" into a "text string"

12345 (number) will become '12345 (string)
111 (number one hundred and eleven) will become '111 (notice the ' before the 111)

Like if I wanted to add automatically a ' before the number

I hope anyone can understand my need

Thank you

Use TEXT function under assumption that A1 has the number here is the formula to get to text

=+TEXT(A1;"0")
