Hi Experts,

On my DELL Server I have installed DELL OpenManage Essentials.
I want to monitor this server and all alarms should be sent via email to my team.
But how to configure this ?

On my server you go to https://server:1311/servlet/OMSAStart?mode=omsa&vid=146881918212119 to setup the email/SMTP settings, find on your interface where that settings is. Once you have setup the SMTP (out going email settings) then go to the section to determine what you want email alerts for, on mine it is the "Alert Management" tab

Ok, do you configure the email settings in OMSA or in Essentials ?
Because DELL told me without Essentials its not working.

So, where you configured the Email Settings ?

configure the email settings in OMSA
did that link I gave you not work--that is where you configure the SMTP settings (the email settings that sends email) in OpenManage--look for a section that SMTP settings
