Hi,

I have a set of 20 folders (always named the same) that I want to be able to reproduce using a template, can you let me know how to do this?

Thanks

If these would be in a new library I'd create them and save the library as a template.

If they need to be created ad hoc, I'd define a SharePoint Designer workflow to do it.

The action is 'Create List Item' and you set the content type of the item to Folder and the name to whatever you want.

Add several of these activities and run the workflow in new libraries or sub folders as you need.

User can execute from the ribbon button.

It's one of the default activities when you create a workflow.

Create Item Action
Content type is Folder
