"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

thank you but I may have explained wrongly

The problem is that I have 15000 lines in column A, without knowing the exact content to manually build column D and I want precisely to generate automatically column D  !

Column D will be (like in your sheet) same content as column A but only ONE TIME every unique instance

How to generate automatically column D?

Thank you

If you want to automatically generate count column, use pivot table (see example).
