message to the senders of a 0365 user who left the company.

We are using O365.  If a user left the company and we want to post a message to the senders of the user (internal, external), what is the proper way to do it?  

Please advise.

There's a few things which could be done,

An auto reply can be set on the users mailbox to inform the senders the user has left the company

You could export the users mailbox into a PST for company purposes.
