This is a lightweight AP - you can't configure it without a wireless controller.

You need to log in to your WLC (USSECWLC11) to configure the AP.

Thank you so much for your fast reply. You are right. This is lightweight AP. What I want to do is to change it into autonomous AP. Now I have several this kind of AP. All of them are disconnected with wireless controller. So, how can I change it into autonomous AP without wireless controller ?

...just remember to rename the file with the correct name.  For an 1142 it would be c1140-k9w7-tar.default

You can issue the show version command.  The running image should have k9w7 in the filename.

Also the giveaway is the hostname.  All Lightweight APs use their MAC address as part of the hostname.  An autonomous AP is just called "AP" by default.

Thanks you! craigbeck,

I also found these features, and i put here for my recording
Following are the three type of IOS available & need to download the correct type before starting the conversion process.
      k9w7 – autonomous IOS
      k9w8 – full lightweight IOS (this is what is bundled in the WLC .aes image, and is factory installed on “mesh” APs)
      rcvk9w8 – lightweight recovery image – this is factory installed on lightweight APs, unless a “mesh” image is specified; it lacks radio firmware
