deleting apps

I was sent a message that a non technical client has a login for both android and iphone
I just got a message from my app developer who informed me he will shut down my user account by the end of the day Today and unpublish the app from the app stores. Do you know of a way I can save my content before he does that?

First question: is this possible? Can one user delete apps?
Second question: how to export. (or prevent delete)

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I am afraid I really don't quite understand the question.  Did this come from the Android or iPhone?  Why is the account being shutdown?  Is the developer quitting and removing all accounts from everyone or did this one users violate the terms of service for an app he had on the phone.

As far as saving content on an Android, it is rooted then you can probably use a utility to take an image of the phone as it is right now.  As to saving the content, there are a variety of utilities that can save app data, but if it still needs the app to access it then the data is useless without the application.

If the content is a bunch of files that do not need the app (say MP3, AVI, MPG, ETC) then these can simply be copied off the device by connecting to a computer and copying the data.

Unfortunately this is based only on a very small bit of information your client has provided.  Perhaps someone has seen something similar here, but I personally have not and without a lot more info this is the best advice I can offer to you.
