Hi,

I have an issue where we have a cisco 3750 and I am trying to set up SLA monitoring.

I tried running the following command:

I do not see the option for Icmp-echo 4.2.2.1 source-interface Gi2/0/39, source-Interface is not an option.  I only get source IP.   So I tried:

I do not see the option for Icmp-echo 4.2.2.1 source-ip 172.16.0.24.  172.16.0.24 is one of the firewalls and for some reason it is not working.  But the switch can ping 4.2.2.1.  If I log into the firewall then I can ping 4.2.2.1

Please help. Thank you in adavance

if I do not put the source ip then it seems to work.  The issue that I have with this is that I have two ISPs and I would like to do failover between them.  Also we want one of the vlans to go through the new Internet line and failover to the old line of it fails.  I figure I could PBR for that VLAN and use set Ip Next-hop verify-availability 172.16.0.24 track 1.  If that fails then it would go to the default route

We also need all the other vlans to failover to the new Internet line in the case that the old Internet line fails.

So I guess what I asking is if I use set Ip Next-hop verify-availability 172.16.0.24 track 1 would that still failover correctly being  that when creating the sla monitor I cannot choose an Interface or gateway to use the new line

Depending on your IOS version the command might appear there but is not supported
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3750/software/release/12-2_52_se/configuration/guide/3750scg/swuncli.html#wp1088081

As long as CDP is enabled in 3750 and the next-hop, verify-availabilty should do the trick for you if supported.

Btw it is weird that source-interface option did not show up. Have you tried with different IPs? What license and SDM template is the switch running on?
