Wordpress 4.0 - can't add a page or contact form

Have a wordpress site with the Bazar theme. For some reason when I add a new page or a new contact form it does not show up in my list of pages. Yes, I do click on "update".

Previous to the Bazar theme I had Room09 and had no problems adding pages.

Any ideas?

i would reinstall the theme first.

What plugins do you have running? Have you made sure they are all compatible with 4.0?

they all worked when I was running the Room09 theme. Only two plugins were added but when I deactivated those and tried to add pages I still couldn't. I'll try reinstalling the theme.

I don't see where a theme can be deleted

To delete the theme you must activate a different one then you can delete it and re-add it.

You can also delete it through FTP.

ok, it was deleted and reinstalled. So once again I create a page and can preview it on the  live site but when I go to the All Pages page it isn't listed. And it isn't listed as a page I can add to a menu, It's like it doesn't exist in the admin section but does: http://keepersmarketplace.com/mbehrtest-page/

Does the problem exist if you switch to a new theme?

Does the problem exist if you deactivate all plugins?

got it working. had to delete everything and reinstall only to find out that the .htaccess file had gotten overwritten and when I replaced it with code from this page, it worked and I could add and view new pages again.
