Remote Desktop services

I am running server 2012 R2
Remote Desktop services are installed
W hen I successfully create a remote connection using a Remote Desktop client the connection works as expected
The problem is that the current connection does not show up in either of the following:
Computer management - Sessions
Remote Desktop services - Monitoring

Can someone explain please

I'm not sure, but is the remote client accessing any resources? There may have to resources being accessed for that to appear?
