Customer needs to view several .mov files. &nbsp;I downloaded the current Quicktime app. &nbsp;When they click on the link--which ends in .mov--Quicktime does start up, but all we ever see is the progress bar at the bottom. &nbsp;No video, no audio, and no errors. &nbsp;I have tried this on their Win 8.1 system as well as my Win7 system, using IE, Firefox, and Chrome.<br />

Quicktime .mov files will not play

Programs written for the Apple operating systems are distinguished from software created for other operating systems in that it must be approved by Apple for use on its devices, whether it is from Apple (Final Cut, iWork, Keynote, Logic Pro and GarageBand are popular titles), or is a third party application from Parallels, Nuance, Microsoft and Amazon, among many others.

Multimedia applications are those programs that integrate more than one media at a time; browsers are the most obvious. However, the term has come to include the use of programs that enable the use of any component that isn’t simple text and static graphics, such as audio, video, animation, virtual reality, conferencing and monitoring.
