NAS & ActiveDirectory ?

I currently have some Dell EqualLogic 24TB SANS with
cheap $1,800/year hardware, tech, and security support.
-----------------------------------------------------------
What under $2,000 NAS do you recommend that
I could put some of my old readOnly files
on that never change after making a FULL backup ?

  ** ActiveDirectory (AD) integration so I don't
       need to setup seperate permissions in Samba/etc
  ** do NOT need NAS integration with anything else
  ** willing to use Microsoft StorageSpaces/etc if needed

I like qnap, some people prefer synology.
