Outlook 2011 on Mac OSX 10.9

We recently installed Outlook 2011 on a new MacBook Pro for a user. The problem is that the new mails are not syncing ...
We deleted the main Microsoft identity and recreate the account with the same result. Outlook is updated to the last version of course.
What can we do with that please ? I configured the mail accounts on "Mail" but the synchronization is quite slow, there is a little delay even if it is configured in automatic (does that mean push by the way?).
