How can I tell from a CD that was burnt for me what the OS is? Like is it windows 7 pro or home or enterprise. I have the CD that was made for me but it does not say what version as far as home or pro or enterprise edition it is.

While you are in Windows you can run the installation which will tell you the edition. Once you get to the stage where it shows you the edition you can cancel the installation safely.
