We have a couple of new OptiPlex, and I want to make sure that other people will lock up with their "enable admin setup lockout"  Obviously, I can login as the bios, I know that "enable admin setup lockout", but what does it mean?

Thank you.

Admin Setup Lockout
( This option is disabled by default )
Enable Admin Setup Lockout allows you to disable the option to enter setup when an admin password is set.

If you Enable Admin Setup Lockout, then only via admin password can the setup be entered.

So, when I enable password lockout, nobody else can login to and get into the BIOS?

Thank you.

Correct.

When the admin enables Admin Setup Lockout, then the Admin password is required to enter BIOS setup.
