One my our departments recently purchased a Cisco CP 8831. But I don’t see it as a listed phone type
in our Cisco 7.1 CUCM. Is there a way to add this more recent phone model into our system? I tried adding the
phone as our standard 7937 model. But so far no-go in terms of registration. Thanks.

This article shows how someone was able to get that model to show in their 7.1.5  CUCM by installing the following device pack (cmterm-devicepack7.1.5.36121-2.cop.sgn)
