Junk Email - "JUNK"

I was at office and I was on the server checking at Exchange.  All the people here were complaining that all the junk email folder started as "JUNK".  I went through everything on the server but I can't find where you could set up so that every time you got a Junk Email with in Subject.  I'm guessing that an old consultant set it up way back and then left.

How can I remove this "JUNK" within the subject?

Thank you.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What version of Exchange are you using?  Assuming 2007 or later, this seems like a transport rule prepending a subject with the work 'Junk'.  I suggest checking the Exchange Management Console (EMC) under Organization Configuration > Hub Transport >  Transport Rules tab and see if there is a rule there that is prepending the subject based on a header value or an SCL value.

Ah, sorry, I don't know much about Office 365.  Is there a control panel of some sort that you can check transport rules?  Other than that, I'm afraid you'll have to get some advice from someone more knowledgeable about Office 365 specifically.

Good luck!
