Need to add a SQLEXPRESS database from an off site server.
When I attached this database I get the following:
"The database cannot be opend because it is version 661. This server supports version 655 and earlier. A downgrade path is not supported."

Any ideas.

looks like the database is 2008 whereas your trying to add it to a SQLEXPRESS instance which is 2005.

You might need to install a SQLEXPRESS Instance of 2008.

I finally had to uninstall all of the SQL Programs and reinstall SQL Server R2
Then SQL Management Studio
Thanks for your insight.
