Cisco Catalyst CE500 and 10.0.0.0

Is it true that the CE500 does not support subnet 10.0.0.0? If yes, can somebody tell me more? I saw this http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,15424198. Thanks

Manual - go to page 31
IP addresses range 10.0.0.0 is not supported
The IP addresses in the 10.0.0.0 network cannot be configured on the switch
